This deed was also read aloud by me in the presence of the parties, witnesses, and interpreter, all do sign with me, the said party Frederick Johnson Gellion, Bri - ish subject, declaring that he did not need an interpreter because he knows the Portu- guese language well enough to understand this deed. Payment was made of stamps value at twelve dollars and twenty cents in stamps, which are affixed at the end. being called, and not at my office as has been declared above, that by the terms of article twenty-four of this deed, to the le- gally nominated manager of the Macao Elec- tric Lighting Company Limited or the per- son legally substituting him, are transferred all the powers which in the said «Macao Electric Lighting Company, Limited» are conferred as the general manager to practise all such acts under the exclusive responsibi- lity of this Company.
